Account & Data Deletion

You can delete an account through the available account settings or request help by contacting privacy@lifeorg.app. You can also request deletion of particular personal data without closing the entire account. Export anything you need before confirming account deletion.

  1. Start with your account controls
  2. If you cannot sign in
  3. Scope of account deletion
  4. Backups, records and independent copies
  5. Timing, withdrawal of consent and other rights

1. Start with your account controls

Sign in and open Settings → Your data and account. Use the export option if you want a copy, then choose Delete account. The identity service may require fresh authentication and confirmation. Read the confirmation carefully: completed account deletion is not intended to be reversible.

To keep your account and ordinary organizer records, use the health-data section of profile settings and explicitly confirm “Withdraw consent and delete health history”. This removes the health records and related health AI history described in the Health & AI Notice from active storage; financial records, ordinary tasks and calendars remain. Independent financial, event and catalogue AI history remains too. Mixed input that also contained health information is removed from related requests; completed non-health results remain, and unfinished processing of that mixed input stops. It is also available when health-data consent is already off. You may export first. A pending request is not a completion confirmation; provider retention and backups follow the separate rules below.

Deleting an app from a device, clearing cookies or stopping use does not itself delete the server account. Removing one attachment or entry has a narrower scope than deleting the account. A future paid subscription, if one is separately purchased, can require its own cancellation process.

2. If you cannot sign in

Email privacy@lifeorg.app or write to the operator’s published postal address. State the account email or identifier, whether you seek deletion of the whole account or specific data, and a way to reply. A suggested subject is “LifeOrg deletion request”, but no exact wording is required.

We verify that the requester is entitled to act. Where possible we use control of an existing account or another proportionate check. Do not send passwords or one-time codes. We do not require an identity document by default; if extra evidence is necessary, we explain the reason and seek no more than needed.

3. Scope of account deletion

  • The account identity, profile and associated personal organizer records are included in the account-deletion process, subject to any lawful retention described below.
  • Associated uploads and stored AI requests/results must be addressed along with their database records. Removing a temporary queue or cache does not by itself erase saved AI history or files.
  • Place-media contributions are handled separately from ordinary private attachments: account deletion removes the associated stored media objects and hides or de-identifies relevant place-media records. Shared place facts and properly de-identified place contributions may remain where lawful. Personal product records are part of your account data.
  • Where an external processor holds affected data on our behalf, deletion must also be addressed with that processor as required. Copies held by an independent recipient can be subject to that recipient’s legal duties and rights-request process.

4. Backups, records and independent copies

Live records, backup copies and provider systems do not necessarily delete at the same instant. Backup data follows the relevant backup lifecycle; contact us for the status of your deletion request. Information retained solely for recovery is restricted to that purpose, and restoration must not simply reactivate a deleted account.

A limited record may be retained where necessary to comply with a legal obligation, investigate an incident, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We assess the necessity and limit access, content and duration. Such retention is not a permission to continue ordinary personalization or marketing.

Copies on your devices, exports, screenshots and material independently copied by another user are not all under LifeOrg’s control. Sign out and clear local app/site data on each device where appropriate, after preserving anything you need. We do not promise that server deletion remotely erases every offline device.

If an erasure request cannot be fulfilled in full, we explain the applicable reason, remaining scope and available remedies. Where legally required, we inform relevant recipients of erasure, correction or restriction.

5. Timing, withdrawal of consent and other rights

We act without undue delay. For GDPR requests, the response deadline is one month, with up to two further months where the statutory extension conditions apply and notice within the first month. For Serbian requests, it is 30 days, with a possible further 60 days under the statutory conditions and timely notice. These are rights-request response rules, not a promise that all backups expire by that date.

Withdrawing health AI consent stops future processing based on that consent but does not automatically delete previously saved content. Request erasure separately if desired. Access, correction, portability, restriction and objection may be useful if you do not want full account deletion.

The Privacy Notice explains the applicable rights and complaint routes. You may approach the competent authority without first completing a complaint to LifeOrg.
